The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) is the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing the engineering profession in Queensland. Established in 1930, BPEQ administers the Professional Engineers Act 2002 and manages the Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) system. This registration ensures that only qualified, experienced engineers can legally offer professional engineering services in or for Queensland. BPEQ covers a wide range of disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, mining, and environmental engineering.
